I'm starting to go away from 1515/1512 for truggy/buggy... and thinking that 1512/1509 is actually a good choice. I have not run these setups yet myself but I have talked to guys who have and it sounds good.

I agree 6s is "too much" on the 1515 1Y 2200kv... unless you are bashing for giggles.

4s is plenty on that kv (1515 or 1512... truggy or buggy)

If you want to go 6s... I suggest getting a 1600-1700kv motor. Heck, I run a 1650kv 1515 on 4s and it's ok for racing with a 14-16 tooth pinion.
