I understand that, I was asking if the 1Y would have more power than the 2.5d, Due to the wind configuration. I know the 1.73 is wind to wind. I was asking if the 1y would be more powerful than the 2.5D.

I'm actually planning to use the 1512 for the revo, but Want a flexable setup. One track in my area is 1100'centerline (biggest) and the smallest is around 500'. i want one motor that I can drop a bit on gearing to do the smaller track and go bigger to take advantage of the longer track. This will be on 4s lipo, with a quark 125, I have 2 2s 8000 mah maxamps Lipo's and two 4s 3700 and 2 4s 3300 flightpower Lipo's, the 8000's will be series and the 3700 and 3300 will be paralleled, so i will be running a lot of mah. I also have 2s 5000's and 3700's that can be used for qualifiers to keep weight down. What i'm looking for is efficiency and good torque on 4s lipo (RC Pro limit for battery) I am looking at 2000 to 2500kv on the motor to keep the revs up on the 4s limit. Thanks for the reply
