Maybe I'm just REALLLLLLY slow, but I just realized something. I always thought that the Neu motors had very low turn counts for the KV value. But I never thought about the fact of the number of poles/slots!
Comparing two delta-wound motors with similar lengths:
- 6XL (kv=2779) and 1515 1.5d (kv=2700)
- 8XL (kv=2084) and 1515 2d (kv=2050)
- 10Xl (kv=1668) and 1515 2.5d (kv=1650)
Seems pretty coincidental that the turn count X number of poles in the neu motor equates to the number of turns of the Feigao for a given kv rating. But the Feigao is 2 turns, so the slots in the Neu must have something to do with it as well?
