Here is a positive response for all of those getting worried...

I ran mine yesterday all day at a race event in my XB808. The esc ran like a top all day. No issues at all. No thermal issues, no wierd performance problems, no quirky behavior. It just did what it was supposed to do and by the end of the day I stopped even thinking about the esc temps. Where as, prior to yesterday that was pretty much my only concern after a run... Whats the esc temp.

Setup was:
Xray XB808
Monster Max
Neu 1512/2.5D
5s 4350mah lipo
Geared for 38-40mph

I did have some motor temp problems yesterday though. It seemed like the temps just kept going up and up all day. I think I might have a bearing going bad in the Neu. Started the day in the 160 range (still to hot IMO) and ended the day 200+. I'm gonna send the motor in to Neu and have them take a look. There is no way it should be running that hot. I was only geared for 38-40 mph in a 7.5 lb buggy.

The only real complaint I have about the MMM is the stick programing on it really sucks. I couldn't figure it out for anything. (And I have programmed ALOT of ESCs in my day) I kept trying and trying to change settings with the stick programing at home on Friday night so I could make setup changes at the track without dragging a computer with. Every time I went trough it I then plugged it into the computer to read what the settings actually were after I programed it with the stick method and all I can say is I was never right. I gave up after about the 10th attempt at getting it right and reluctantly dragged the computer to the track.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...
