i've just been playing around with different placements of the CD on the lower deck. Having the diff placed exactly where i see it in the pics, just before the front upper gmaxx plate, the diff hits my servo saver. Maybe the steering assembly on the Revo is a little farther forward than it is on the Maxx??
When i move the CD unit back far enough for the SS to clear, the bottom of the spur hits the lower deck. Maybe Dafni's mounts position the diff a little higher up than standard buggy/truggy CD mounts?
[EDIT] i think i know whats causing the problem. Due to the Revo's suspension setup, the bulkheads are located further away from the chassis than they are on the maxx, thus the steering assembly is also further away. From the third picture down, i can tell that there is a fairly long driveshaft. On the maxx, the dogbone would only be around 2cm

i'll get some pics up shortly
[EDIT 2

sorry for the crappy pics, my camera doesnt take good close ups. Please let me know if im doing something wrong here, i would still love to mount the motor low down in the chassis.
thanks
