I ran the MBX5T again today, but I went a tooth higher on the pinion to a 15T to see if I could get the controller to hit it's Thermal Protection. Well it did and it worked beautifully. Keep in mind this is not the same controller that will be offered by Scorpion. Scorpion will add a larger heat sink and a fan (Fan might even be Thermal controlled). I still have the original heat sink and I will be changing it with a larger one and I will be adding a fan as well. Well motor and ESC got hot. The Max. Temp on both were 212F and the avg. on the ESC was 160.83F and the motor was 156.36F. The batteries were just warm and I put back 1639mAh after around 6 minutes of running the truck. Max. current was 85.69A and avg. was 12.34A. I don't now how accurate the min. voltage on the DPR-150 is, but the graph did not show 13.14v min. as it's says. Each pack had 11.34v in them still.
