I use a 80w weller iron, the SP80L. It has a HUGE massive tip on it which has lots of thermal mass, great for showing those 6.5mm bullets who's boss. The guns will work, but since the tip has not much thermal mass, they are a bit slower, even though the watts are higher. My iron melts solder in the cup in about 2 seconds or less.
Using a bit of solder on the iron to form a "heat bridge" is essential. With a dry tip, it'll take forever to get the cup hot. Wetting the tip a bit with solder makes a huge difference.
Be careful after you've soldered it too, guys. Those bullets retain a lot of heat and can burn the bajeezus out of ya for a long time.
