Now let me explain the ugliness. I was going to use shrink wrap, but most of the controllers I have with shrink wrap seems to make it shrink some more. So I had some of that Self Fusing Silicone Rubber tape here and decided to try it out. One advantage is that it will withstand higher heat and it should harden a bit in a few hours. You can also see that it makes for a much more water tight application. It also smells like my uncle's rubber factory
. I will find my on/off switch and add it to the fan and use my rx pack that's already in the truck to run the fan. I don't need the rx as the BEC on this controller is just doing a great job and hasn't failed yet. Hope your guys enjoy my Frankenstein job
