If you use it on loose stones, you might even see a wheel spin. And show the courtesy to hold one wheel, the interaction of the diff might lead into some ballooning too! (batteries fresh of the charger does help) After 4 minutes of untamed pleasure you need to wait for another 16 hours for the batteries to be charged again, only have 1 4 cells charger, which does 200mAh@1.2V.. Another charger is OUT of the question! this nikko setup set me back like 200 usd.. another charger would be an extra 20 bucks.. Not to mention an extra set of batteries, at 5 bucks a pop, another 40 dollar lost! (with a 50ct week payment from my parents, and the 50 dollar per year for my birthday it put me back 3 year salary.. for ONE vehicle.. an extra charger and an extra set of cells would be another year wait!! There was no steering servo, it was just left and right, which only functioned when the monster was moving.. two speed forward, one back.
Luckely for me my father also loved RC, he bought me my first real RC.. a Robbe 4wd.. Ancient..
This was about 23 years back..
Nowadays my garage looks a bit different, but to be honest, i still mis the part of only having/maintaining 1 vehicle..
