I believe people have run the EVX on 16cells before, the weak point is the titans.....they have a tendancy to blow up. If you want a bit more power but can't afford brushless, may I suggest Dan at
www.kershawdesigns.com . They have some very nice 'pre-brushless' upgrade kits. Personally I'd just save up for brushless.....
