Hey Shaun I was in the same boat for a digital scale and found a few on Amazon. I just punched up digital scale in my browser and that lead me to a few pics on Amazon where I found what I wanted and needed. I did some resarch on different MFG's and styles, and ended up ordering a postal/kitchen scale that goes up to 75lbs. I figured that way I can do a lot more than just weigh R/C stuff. It is accurate to .002lbs. Unfortunately they sent me a 35lb scale by mistake. I contacted them immediately and they shipped out a replacement that day. So it is on its way, and all I have to do is switch them out and send the 35lb one back return mail shipping. Anyway it has a detachable control panel, it is very lite, and it was only like $35. Brand new.

By the way I received those bearings from VXB.COM and they are exactly what I was hoping for. Double sealed, steel shields and high quality good for up to 80K rpms. I received 86 bearings and the digital caliper all for $170 shipped. I ended up ordering two more sizes due to the FLM savage diff cups needing a different size bearing (10X16X5). Once those come in I should be set for bearings for the next year. The digital caliper is very cool and it works perfectly for ($9.) with a nice fitted case.
