ANother prooduct that works good on metal to metal contact surfaces that are exposed to dirt is called Dri-Slide

You can get it at mcmaster.com in a 40z squeeze bottle for around $10. Its a little messy, but ti is fantastic dry lube that doesnt attract dirt. It actually repels dirt and its designed for high pressure, high temp appications. I use it on spur and pinion and in diff cups and dogbone ends.

I'd post a link but mcmaster.com is based on a pdf catalog it wont work. Just go there and search dri-slide and get the 4oz squeeze bottle. Thats plenty for a long time.

But in reality, you really dont need it. I just like to take as much friction out of the driveline as I can.
