It seems pretty hard to compare the two systems since there aren't very many high end sensored systems out there (non I've seen anyway) but I will play devils advocate and say that between the two, the sensored system will be the better and more efficient system.
I own a Delta wind sensored motor/controller and have not seen a similar sensorless combo that compares to its power and efficiency. My motor is a maxcim N32 which I run on my E-Revo on 16-18 cells geared for 40mph and it runs cool without fans and blows by nitro's like there's no tomorrow
The dimensions and kv are closest to the 10L
I have raced the system all the way up to 20 cells geared for 40mph within acceptable temps ~160-170F.
With GP2200's I get up to 15 minute runtimes during racing conditions.
I just wish Tom would have continued to make the maxcim sensored motors. I would have really liked to see a higher end maxcim similar to the 8XL or 9XL.
I am looking at getting a new sensorless system soon so I will have something to compare it to...
