Lots of detail on this thread HERE on the entire process... a few updates in there as well with more recent updates.. very easy to do iMO and pretty cheap other than the 1.5d really.. but I stared with an 8xl myself before that upgrade. The battery tray is from my rustler and on that link is full detail on my final build of it.. there were two versions.. once I hit the track I had to sturdy it up a bit :) |

You showed us yours, now here's mine. I took the easy way out. I bought a Traxxas E-Revo and swapped out the electronics with some parts I had laying around. Here's a couple pix:
