Are you sure you can't set the AUX channel to 2P(2 position) and get it to stay in the 2nd position?I'm very suprised that you can't.
I suppose you must have it in 2P already if you're shifting with it.
On the XS3 which the DX3 looks suspiciuosly like a 2.4GHz version of (no bad thing) it has 3 grip buttons A,B and C.On that it's only grip button C that you hold down,grip button A makes it stay in the 2nd position when AUX channel is set to it.If you get what i mean.
