so I guess the answer is no.... I was planning on connecting it directry to the Tranny Shaft for the Maxx....

using a boat coupler.... 5mm to .130" or .150" or something like that...

2280-5's gonna draw about 90A's at most... with 12S lipos....

It'll be fun to see what this sucker can do... BK's site says that the hi-amp motors are fixed..... but the're wrong abou t the 1930-5 turn.. I was still able to change the winding..

I hope they're wrong about the 2280-5 turn too...
1480 kv-rating is good enough.... I have a 42 spur and 20T Pinion... so far.. from SDP-SI..

you think 1480 KV rating is too high?.. I don't think the motor will ever be running at 4000 Watts unless I"m trying to push a house or something like that.. :)
hahahahaa....2000 Watts is enough to make it fly....
