Also, did anyone catch that the Slash wheelbase is actually longer than the Slayer? The wheelbase of a Slash is close to a buggy.

I'm probably going to pick up a cheap buggy kit (Ofna MBX?), give the suspension a little more travel (and make it sit a tad higher), and do the normal conversion process. Slap a Slash body, make body mounts, and make bumper mounts/ Should be cake to do and a whole lot simpler IMO...
If you want a longer wheelbase slash just use the revo 3.3 chassis. Should be able to pick one up fairly cheap as a part out on ebay.

If you are looking for durability dont get the ofna MBX. IMO MBX=POS. Never had a worse buggy. Bought it, converted it, broke it repatedly, sold it. Finally happy. I guarntee the slash will be a better than the MBX. If you still want a good tough buggy for a basher just go with the Hyper 7. I think they still sell the TQ. Its way better/tougher than the MBX and its pretty close in price if I remember. Just my opinion.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...
