If you want some numbers, the Novak systems put out 750 watts (1HP) peak. The only advantage I see to a NoS is that thy are sensored and therefore easier to control at LOW speeds. But who drives slow these days?
If you were doing nothing but racing on a tight track where you wouldn't see speeds of more that 35mph then I'd say get the Novak.
OTOH, MMM/Neu can easily make 1500 watts (2HP) peak or more AND be more effiient while doing so. It means you need better batteries, too, so plan for that. A pack that can dish out 80-100A continuously would be alright.
