oops, when I said 19/52 above...that was a typo...I meant 19/62. But thanks for the ratio information above. I used to wonder how folks computed the gear and drive ratios. I can see from your numbers above that its just spur tooth count divided by pinion tooth count. Duh! Sorry, I took electronics, not mechanics.
Slap me! (always wanted an excuse to use that emoticon).
So I ended up going the hobby shop and getting a 62 tooth spur and used a 20 tooth pinion....
She was out of control! I don't have a speed gun, but my wheels were complete saucers and I had almost no weight on the front wheels for steering! It was a blast! 150 degrees on the motor 147 on the ESC.
I'll make the wiring modifications tomorrow if I can. Thanks for the tip...something in the back of my mind was telling me I should have done it different...that's why I asked. What you said makes perfect electronics sense.
