Yeah, I pay for my server, but it's not just the R/C Calc site. When I started learning HTML/Javascript/DHTML, I created a bunch of scripts that I had to put
somewhere, so the
scriptasylum site was born. It had it's day, but now just sits there for reference un-updated as I don't do that just for fun anymore.
I also use the site for: My
personal page (really have to update that!), my brushless conversions (link in sig), a place to put backups of some things I can't lose, and a place to host pictures.
I toyed with getting rid of it a while back, but it's pretty cheap (~$30/year) for what I get: 120GB space, 1.2TB transfer, 262k files, and domain name. There is capability for a MySQL database, which is currently unused, but may start creating my own ASP apps someday. Although, I kinda like keeping stuff client-based because it allows me to use everything offline if I need to.
