Blue,
I live in marin, but if you happen to find youtself in the east bay:
You might try the Berkeley marina. Take university the opposite side of 580 from downtown berkeley and it'll eventually curve to the right and then the left again(around a building complex) to head out towards the water. Huge park area and there should be some nice areas closer to the water beyond the shrubbery where you shouldn't be hassled by any authorities patrolling the lot(not that I would know if they had issues with RCs).
Another place, if you happen to get over to berkeley, would be near the USPS shipping hub out 580 towards san rafael(maybe 5-6 miles west on 580 after 80 splits off to go north). I forget the exit, but it'll be on the left(maybe central?). Similar area to the berkeley marina, but nobody ever goes to this park, so it'll be all your's.
Since you're all the way out here, you might as well head to Point Molate right next to the richmond-san rafael bridge.
Heading west on 580, take the very last exit before the bridge and continue down that road till you see a park on the left right on the water. Again, a practically deserted park. Mainly because it's surrounded by huge oil storage tanks and pipes...hardly a natural surrounding, but I think the park kicks butt for bashing were it not accross the bridge from me, hence, a $4 toll just to go bash there is hardly a bargain.

If you ever wanna come out to Marin, I can show you some rather special areas in Mill Valley at the risk of being ejected by the locals. I'm guessing a buncha freestyle MTB/BMX riders wouldn't mind a couple high powered electric RCs bashing at their spot for a few, though.

Took me awhile to remember these 2 sweet bashing spots, but as it turned out, they are places I've known about for years, but never considered them for bashing until way later when I started getting into off-road RCs.

I was actually thinking it'd be cool to make a kinda parkour/urban RC tricking video in SF. Perhaps there would be legal issues, though.

What I need, now, is a local track so I can try my hand at staying between the lines. ;)
