#1 Do you have a lot of heavy wire flopping around that can pull on the plugs due to momentum on a hard hit? If so, affix the wires so they can not move so much. Maybe strap the adapter into the car so it's not bouncing around on the air relying on the deans to hold it in place.

If it's all secure and the issue IS the plugs - Bending them can cause for a bad connection. Less surface contact. The best bet would be to replace them with new plugs if in fact the plugs are the problem.
