I have the 2.5D in my RC8 and running stock gearing. I am going to try a 17 and 18 next for a little top end boost but tbh I run a fair sized track and am able to hang with any nitro except a few of the better motors. lots of grunt on the infield though. I'd like to try 5S but I'll wait for V2 of the MMM for that. on 4S the MM is doing fine.
