Once you've got it flush, back the vise up, use anything thats smaller in diameter - nail or a pc of drill bit (shank) and push it the rest of the way out.

UE's use a 3mm pin for center drives and cvds, I bought a 2mm drill bit, cut shank off ~10mm or so and use that. I had 16 pins to replace, if it had been just a few, I would have used a pc of nail.

The above is the hard way - take the end thats stricking out and clamp it in the vise. Takes a few taps with small hammer on side of the dogbone to move it the rest of the way. My experience with these is once pin has moved, it's a lot easier to move it. It might take a bit to make it move that 1st bit (some even make a pop), but past that its all downhill from there.
