I think the price is a mute point. Why? Well look at what some of these guys put into their baja's with special ported and polished engines and other hop ups to make it go faster. When push comes to shove it runs about the same price for same performance. You could easily have a toned down budget e-baja as well. I think the advantages of being able to run anywhere and anytime would be great.

Don't get me wrong, I like the bajas both ways, electric and gas.
