Mounting my MGM Compro? - 07.03.2008, 09:18 AM

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------BushyAR15

Trying to mount up my MGM Compro to an rcproductdesigns RC8 (EA8) top-plate.

I want to make sure its securely mounted since I'll be racing it on a track with some big air. So far I've used double-stick tape and a few zip ties. Not very sano looking.

Does anybody have any ideas or have successfully mounted one up securely which will hold-up with the rigors of an 8th scale track?

hey every one im a little late on this but.... zip-ties are cool i use them alot at work, but they tend to have a short lifespan in my oppinion. plus it looks kinda hard to cinch down the mgm type controllers without risking damage. they dont apear to have a case(not sure never owned one.....yet). i donk know about most but i prefer to use shoe goo. its strong enough to hold but easily peels off a smooth surface like plastic, graphite, or aluminum. thin layer will do, the thicker the layer the more flexible its stays. best to try yorself with an old rec. or something to feel it out. i dont know has served me well for a loooooong time.
