Looks to me like the girl on the phone read the numbers wrong, so she had the same motor in her hand. I am sure that the price was marked on it, so she just relayed that over the phone. So the mistake was hers, and probably had nothing to do with the price. The fact you can still use it for you application is great. The cost difference between a 1512 and a 1515 new are no that much. I do not see this as stealing. The motor may have been a test motor, or a repaired motor that had very little use and a caring first owner.

I recently bought a neu from a forum member for $100 bucks. It had a loose shaft, and he offered it to me for that price. I shipped it back to neu and they fixed it for me free of charge and returned it to me. So I also have a 1515 for $100 and do not feel like I stole it...

If Neu accidentall refunded your money for the motor, I would call them about that, otherwise I would enjoy the motor!
