I had this happen to my 1200xl lehner once, I moved the wires till it spun free, never happened again. I think you should be ok. If you get that wierd cog again, Stop! Don't push your luck. I haven't had it happen, but i'm sure that the crossed phases or shorting on the can will hurt the esc
