Gotta agree with truck basher, if you bought a revo to upgrade, you kinda screwed up already.
I think the only thing left stock on my emaxx is the tranny case and a few gears. Oh, and the steering knuckles. But yeah, I made the same mistake...bought a emaxx instead of building one up.
