my retrive setup fir running at ponds is my old electric hammer with string tied to a custom mount bolted to the hatch. it has a big nut on the end of the string with a bobber that keeps the nut about a inch - an inch and a half under. so i drive out circle the boat and the nut gets caught on the rudder and i drag it back in with the hammer. it has a 12 xl feagio and a hydra 120 in it also so i can turn a good sized prop with alot of pitch to give me good slow speed pulling power. if its upside down i do the same thing because all my boats have a 4-5 inch tall aluminum antenna base that the nut wraps around perfectly. ive done this about 10 times now and the boat stays really dry even tho its being draged upside down. out on a lake i just hop on my sea doo and go get it.
