If you want to see/use 4gb you will need vista 64 - vista and xp 32 will only be able to use about 3.25 GB of the 4GB due to memory addressing limitations of a 32bit os.

I use FireFox 3 as well, and I love it. Much prefer the interface to IE, and it runs quicker too.  |
