In some ways it's great because it allows any John Doe to join in the fun easily - sorta like the Nitro RTRs - and drive a decent quality e-RTR. I'm sure many people just want a rc car they can play with and not spend as much time obsessing over as we do.

But, in another way it will definitely deminish the WOW! factor of the creations we have been building for the past few years.

At least they're not packaging it with a so-so servo and piece-o-cr@p radio system that you have to pay for and then rip out.
