My setup is as follows:
I'm running a stock 3905 Emaxx with a feigao 7xl geared 20, 68 for about 38mph. I have 2 truerc 7.4V 8000mah 10C lipos in series and an airtronics 2.4 ghz radio.
I plan on running this thing at least once per day so hopefully it lasts. I'll report back if anything happens. I'm hoping this is a solid setup that holds up for a while.

your motor is running hot due to the kv rating, try going to a 9XL and it will run cooler unless you gear down, but you would probubly have to gear for 30 mph for it to run cool enough...but whats the fun in that....
