I've got a couple. The batteries on both of them have also went south. One of the stupid front steering hubs broke on one truck, so now it only has 1 wheel steering
. On the other one, I soldered up 4 AAA's in series and zip tied 2 on each side of the truck. It goes very fast and has amazing runtimes (I've only charged it once in like 5 months, tho I don't drive it that much). The only bad thing is that you can't put a body on it this way and I'm not sure if the stock charger works with it or not since I use a different one.
I also got mine out today and ran it since everything was wet outside. Still pretty fun, though I kinda wish I hadn't gotten 2 now. Oh well.
