The tekno kit is nice. If you plan to run on a small tecnical track you probably dont need 45mph. I run a farely large track and dont even use all of the speed for more than a second or 2 when geared for 40mph.

I think shooting for something in the range of 38mph would be plenty for you on a small to med track.

If you are looking for maximized run time on a small track with nitro comaprable power plus a little bit extra on the bottom end, I'd say look at a 1512/2.5D and a 4s 5000mah lipo setup. On that type of track you should be very happy with it and it should easily get you over the 20 minute runtime mark, maybe even getting close to that 30 minute target of yours. Its also a very versitlie motor. If you ever want to head out to a large wide open track or out in the open bashing for some speed runs you can drop a 5s pack in it and it will scream like your buddies 1.5D on 4s only be easier on the battery and esc while doing it.
