Either the R1Pro or the MGM are pretty easy to use. They both have software that allows you to program them via a usb cable and your computer with the optional computer programing cables for either controller. The tekin has bettr instructions with it IMO, but either one is easy enough to figure out.

I wouldnt run that motor in a truggy. That is a high rpm lower torque motor. In the truggy you want something with more torque to run cool. Look at a 1515 size Neu motor for best success. Its a little longer than the 1512 and handles the heavier truggy and bigger tires with more rotating mass better. Best racing setup for truggy that I have found is the 1515/2.5D running on a 5s lipo. It is fast powerfull setup that runs very cool. RC-Monster Mike actually runs the same motor /battery setup in his race truggy. You could also run the 1515/1y motor on 4s in the truggy and have a great racing setup.
