It's rated for 0.6, which is 0.05A @ 12v. Personally, I'd use an LM7812 (12v regulator) right off the lipos. Even with 2 or 3 of those, the regulator will be fine heat-wise. The regulator is a 3 terminal type so it's really easy to hook up:
