Well, when one has a RC helicopter with a 12 year-old engine that is mounted upside down, there can tend to be problems:
-overloading glowplug because fuel is directed down onto it
-gummed up parts from sitting for 10 years
-tough tuning
I did get it running back about a year or two ago, but the last time I tried it about 6 months ago, the engine would cut out at 1/3 throttle, so the helicopter wouldn't get off the ground.
Then there were the nitro car engines... I have gone through 3 of my own, and worked on my friend's TRX 2.5 quite a bit.
David, I think some time you should try nitro, just for the experience. That way, you can actually say that you like electric over nitro. Maybe with the employee discounts that would be easier :L:.
