Depends on what you mean by "slow"

My truggy is built specifically for our local track which isn't a full 1/8 scale. It's dimensions are about 60'x170' and you can't use a top speed over 40mph. I run a 15t pinion and it tops out right about 40 so it's perfect for it's use. I have no problem keeping up with and beating every nitro down the back straight.
I know it's below the potential ability of the RPMs but it can get pretty hot here in Boise and I hate heat issues. With this setup it runs very well regardless of the conditions.
