Whew, a lot going on in this post! thanks everyone for helping papa out(and thanks for the English and economics lessons from papa-guess you get a little and give a little back, heh :)). The heatsink is perfectly fine for the Lehner motor(I use it on mine), but the rear piece is not needed or recommended. :) The rear of the motor has the ability to be re soldered into a different configuration(so it acts like a slower turning motor), but shorting(or shortening as Dafni put it :)) across the solder points would certainly be bad!
