All this radar talk.. this is why I always use GPS; mine happens to be the garmin etrex Venture Cx, awesome little unit, very accurate and small enough to strap in with out issues. The only downfall to a GPS is if you don't hold the top speed long enough it may not register, so any reading you get on a GPS you know is on the money.
