I don't think an mods will help these motors. I was thinking of a nice little water cooling system, but that would just add more weight. The ones I bought from Hobbycity were made by the same factory Keda (Hance the KD on the Hobbycity ones). One thing to make sure is to use Loctite on the screwed on front end and also on the screws at the rear end. Most high quality 2 pole motor designs don't have that strong of cogging to them. You should see how smooth Lehners and Hackers are when you turn them.
