Looks to be coming along o.k., I recently finished building my 8 E-T with a Tekno conversion, Neu 1515-1Y & MGM controller. I'm sure you'll have some fun when it's finished, I'm sure it was perception issue that when I ran mine back to back against my nitro 8T the E-T appeared to be slower. I think it simply seemed that way due to the lack of noise as it drove the corners better and was easily as quick down the straights.
I mounted my esc on a plate having put longer bolts through the rear chassis brace so it's mounted centrally in the rear to try and avoid heat from the motor adding heat to the esc and vice versa.
