I'm pretty sure that should that happen, it'll be Traxxas' territory.
It's their truck. But neither company is stupid, and Traxxas will have tested the Revo to the nth degree to ensure it can handle the system. They won't be about to release a truck that can't handle its own powerplant, and so risk losing a load of money from warranty returns. IMO, anyway.
