The ESC's are new. And they do come with built in bullet connectors. Wiring them for brushed motors are written in the instructions. If you update the firmware when you receive your ESC, it will run fine. And honestly sending it in is not needed. You can just ask them for a V3 case. But as long as you have the latest firmware, it should run well.
