Main issue with the axial pinion shaft is that it is a solid 5mm shaft with a flat area ground on it. If you try to use the 5mm bore tmaxx plastic yokes I have a feeling that they will just distort under load with just a set screw going thru one side. They are designed to work with a pin going all the way thru. I would drill a hole in the pinion shaft, but would like an off-the-shelf part for ease. Plus I really do not like taking the axles apart. Hpi's wheely king geats and pinion shaft could be used, and that pinion shaft will work with a 6mm std old emaxx yoke. But I still need to take the axles apart... And am not sure if the wk gears are any good. And the heavy duty wk gears have the pinion shaft built in by the looks of them.
