Hyperion 0610i duo sports 36a max, 18a per side basically but with out some kind of firmware update I think it is limited to a 2c charge rate. Lipo's should be cooled if your system is pulling too hard and they get really hot yes, I would say anything under 100 is fine to drop on the charger immediatly, but ask around.
