I can definitely agree with the non-open policy, but it would be nice if they make a cutout on the PCB with smooth edges for the wire to be routed through. Will CC warranty a MMM that has been carefully opened (to the point they can't notice that it's been opened until they see the mod) that has heatshrink on the wire? |
By the sound of Patrick's post if you did not damage the esc by opening it you will be fine. If it looks like you used a shop press to get the case off the warranty is void. They are just stating that it is up to them to decide. CC are a good company and will honor the warranty if it is applicable to the problem.
