I know from the crowed in here lately that you will get a lot of guys who will say go for it. I was in the US Navy for over 20 years and managed to avoid such frivalous nonesense. I can see the guy who has a good reason for one like putting his wife and kids names on his arm, or even his mother because of his devotion to them. I have been around the world and back and I have met a lot of people (the majority of them) who wished they never got one. These sort of things are fads and phases that we all go through in life and want to be part of the crowed just like piercings. What a waste of money.

I believe that our bodies are the most important thing that we will ever have to take care of in our lifetime. We do things to them that cause us more harm then good most of the time, and when we finally realize it the damage has been done. I thought about it many times during my Navy career, but just did not see the long term advatage to it. Spend the money on some good R/C gear that will bring you some happiness and wait until you find something that is truly worthwhile tattooing on your body that will stay there for the rest of your life. Or not..... Good luck with your choices.
