In my MBX-6 conversion I started out with 14T running the stock spur gear.
I'm running the Neu 1512 2.5D (2050KV) by the way..
This winter i'll be racing and most likely will use the 16T pinion. I'll be getting just over 40mph with that setup. I stepped up to the 16T because the Neu didn't like to gear low(14T) and was running a little on the hot side. Now the temps are a little more desireable, while still leaving my MMM temps at about 120F MAX.
